Born in 1991, Renaud Dallet began his dance training at an early age at the Conservatoire de La Rochelle. In 2016, he obtained the Diplôme d’Études Chorégraphiques in contemporary dance at the Paris Conservatoire in parallel with his philosophy degree at the University of Paris-Nanterre, before joining the École supérieure du Cndc d’Angers that same year. During his studies, he was influenced by the work of Noé Soulier, Jonathan Capdevielle and François Chaignaud. He performs works by Trisha Brown, Merce Cunningham, Yvonne Rainer et Isadora Duncan. Renaud Dallet also interned with François Chaignaud for the piece Romance Inciertos, un autre Orlando and with Éric Minh Cuong Castaing for the piece Phoenix.

In 2018, Renaud Dallet is continuing his studies in the Arts et langages research master’s program under the direction of Élizabeth Claire in Cultural History of Dance at L’EHESS (École des Hautes Études en Sciences Sociales). His research focuses on the representation and expression of the damaged body in the context of the Tutsi genocide in Rwanda. He then developed his research within the Master of Choreography at Charleroi Danse.

In January 2020, he was a dancer-performer in Boris Charmatz’s Happening Tempête project for the closing of the Grand Palais, presented in January 2021 at the Festival d’Automne.

Since March 2021, he has been a dancer and performer in Daniel Linehan’s choreographic projects Listen Here: These Woods and Listen Here: This Cavern.

In October 2021, the Villa Noailles commissioned 6 performances from him for the 36th International Festival of Fashion, Photography and Accessories.
