The name TAMO resonates like an echo from elsewhere. It refers to an ancient word with multiple meanings: a distant place, a state of dependence, a tribute to one’s roots. It evokes “over there”, an imagined space to be created, a territory where one can finally surrender to music. Born in different parts of the world – Île-de-France, Madagascar, Luxembourg and the Landes – the members of TAMO each carry a singular musical identity. Their diverse cultures and influences came together in Paris, giving rise to a rare alchemy: alternative soul infused with pop and open to sonic explorations. TAMO is four stories intertwined, shaping a vibrant landscape: a universe where groove meets raw emotion, where every song becomes a journey “over there”, into another world. On stage as in the studio, their creations go beyond songs; they are experiences, suspended moments where time slows down and music becomes a universal language. Together, they build their own “over there” and invite the audience to lose themselves in it, for the length of a song or a concert.
This album explores the fragile yet luminous spaces of human relationships. It speaks of our drives and contradictions, of those moments when we follow impulses or ideas, even if they take us away from the path we thought was right. It reflects on the struggle for self-confidence and the search for identity beyond society’s insistent gaze. Through its songs, the album explores both love and friendship, the ties that sustain us and the ones that sometimes lead us astray. It evokes the difficulty of accepting absence, silence, unfulfilled desires, and the strength it takes to keep moving forward. It is an inner journey, at once intimate and universal, where music becomes a space for confession, surrender, and self-reconstruction.

What is “Summer Chance”?
On July 1st, 2020 we launch a call for projects dedicated to musical creation to support the emerging scene: “SUMMER CHANCE #1” is born :).
We wish then, taking into account the sanitary constraints related to the epidemic of Covid-19, to allow bands deprived of concerts, to finalize during this period a project of EP in professional and convivial conditions. Our partner, the Red House Studio, has all the qualities to welcome the winners: a magnificent house of 450 m2 in a peaceful and green setting, an ultra professional human accompaniment with a dedicated sound engineer and state-of-the-art equipment.
Among the many applications received during the summer, our selection committee has chosen four winners: Kids Return, LUNAR, Zoe’s Shanghai and Black Rooster.
The project is a real springboard for these musicians, and we’ve decided to repeat it every year:
