Project Supported: MP#05

With a passion for cinema from an early age, his interest in images and storytelling led him to join the practitioner-photographer program at ETPA in Toulouse in 2021. Here, he learns photographic technique, develops a sensitivity to reality through social reporting, and completed internships in the press at Le Monde and AFP. 

Today, he is moving away from photojournalism to build long-term documentary projects. His approach consists of surveying a territory and blending an intimate point of view with a sociological and poetic dimension. He also explores the relationship between text and image.

During MP#05, he will be developing his Dans ma ville on traine project, a documentary series in which he returns to the region he left at the age of 18: the former Lorraine mining basin. His focus will be on the young people who live there in a popular milieu of isolation and uncertainty.
