Passionate about photography from an early age, he sees it as a form of dialogue with himself. In 2020, he joined ETPA in Toulouse to hone his technique and artistic vision and develop his photographic approach during three years of intensive study.

Deeply inspired by the Franco-Spanish culture in which he grew up, his work explores the themes of exile, identity and its multiple facets. The question of secrets is also central to his projects.
He draws inspiration from a variety of cultural and artistic references. The emotional and cultural depth and color work of Pedro Almodóvar’s films, the humanity with which Jane Evelyn Atwood undertakes her subjects, the light of Caravaggio, the eccentricity of Ouka Leele and the poetry of Federico García Lorca constantly nourish and enrich his gaze.
Convinced that photography is a powerful vector of emotion and expression, he aspires to capture moments that resonate deeply with the human soul.

For MP#05, he will continue his project devoted to the story of Baye. Born in Senegal in 1969, Baye has lived in France since the early 2000s. He maintains a distant relationship with his daughter Mariama, which he finally broke off in 2016.
In 2022, Mariama learns that Baye has died in Senegal. As she seeks to understand his past, she discovers truths that shed light on her father’s absence. Upset, she decides to leave for Senegal in 2024, to meet her father’s family whom she doesn’t yet know, and to discover part of her roots in a country that is foreign to her.
