She studied photography at Cégep du Vieux Montréal. Through a sensitive and committed approach, she explores notions of resistance, identity building, and connections. Her projects are long-term endeavors, fueled by encounters, trust, and listening, in order to accurately recount life stories that are often invisible. She develops collaborative narratives, sometimes combining archival images and documents to weave together multiple stories. In 2022, she was awarded the SCAM’s Brouillon d’un rêve grant.
During this year of mentoring, she will continue her project, Ne t’inquiète pas pour moi , dedicated to the loved ones of incarcerated people. Each year, nearly half a million people in France and Canada are affected by the imprisonment of a loved one. She will seek to highlight the daily lives of these families of prisoners, the strength of family ties, but also the suffering and stigmatization caused by the prison system.
